Worldwide Green Foundation (WGF) was founded with the purpose of offering outstanding revenue to our investors while providing a variety of benefits to the environment. Our company offers a way of diversifying investments in a sustainable and ethical manner. We acquire, develop, and maintain plantations / forests throughout the world, reducing the pressure on the world’s natural rainforest through carbon footprint reduction allowing extensive areas to be preserved.

Worldwide Green Foundation has over 200,000 acres under management and has managed 1,000's of acres of hardwood plantations to date. Our goal is to manage 1 million acres of land by 2010..

One of our main goals is ensuring that plantations are ecologically, socially sustainable and supported by 3rd party auditing and certification. WGF was created by a group of qualified professionals in different fields, each of them with years of experience in the tropical forestry industry. Founders Dario Herrera and Rick Jennings are Environmental philantropists that believe giving from private and public foundations misses the boat when it comes to systematically addressing the major problems we face in providing a catalyst to significant environmental restoration, protection, and generation of an environmentally friendly and sustainable human impact upon the earth.

Dario Herrera is a restless environmental philanthropist and real estate developer that has lived around the world for all of his life. He has developed some very influential connections in South America and specifically his home country of Ecuador. His resources and expertise have brought an incredible network of influence to the Worldwide Green Foundation. His expertise is in teak, bamboo, and hardwood plantation acquisition / development as well as the import / export business of such wood. With Dario, you never know what project the Worldwide Green Foundation will tackle next, but it is always making the world we live in a better place.

Rick Jennings is also an environmental visionary doing his part to make the world we live in a better place for generations to come. Rick's expertise in the financial arena and Internation markets has brought the necessary funding and marketing to get the Worldwide Green Foundation in the eyes of the public. Rick has also worked in the Carbon Reduction and Reforestation side of the business developing relations with Government and Corporations across North and South America in order to grow the Protection Efforts of the Worldwide Green Foundation.
